Right now we are accepting fine, gently used items, preferably summer themed. Donations may be brought to the Prince Building, 54325 Main Road, the following days:

Mon. – Fri., 10 AM – 2 PM

Thurs., Fri., 10AM – 4PM

Sat., 12 PM – 4 PM

All sales support the mission of the Museum.

We kindly ask that you please do not leave any items at the door. Some of the items we appreciate include home decor, kitchenware, jewelry, antiques, vintage toys, fashion accessories. No clothing, shoes, tools, electronics please.

Next Week is the Deadline for Art Exhibit Submissions

Artists participating in the Ten Squared online exhibit and sale this summer can drop off their work with submission forms next week, from 10am – 2pm, June 15 – 19.

The theme is Celebrate America — North Fork Legacy in the Spirit of 1776. Artists can explore what this year’s 250th anniversary of the United States represents to them, highlighting the North Fork’s historical and cultural contributions to the nation’s founding and continued evolution

This non-juried show accepts up to three 10” x 10” pieces per artist. Each work will be sold for $100, with 50% going to the artist and 50% supporting the Museum.

​The exhibition and sale will be presented online from July 1 through July 31, 2026.

Join Us for More Line Dancing in the Barn with Lady T

Lady T is back again to add some excitement to Friday night! Join us for an evening of great music, fun, and friendship line dancing in the Barn. Everyone’s welcome to attend, singles, couples, beginners, or experienced!

Minimum age: 12

Come on your own or with friends and family for one or all of the summer sessions at Southold Historical Museum Maple Lane Campus!

Upcoming dates: June 26, July 31, August 28. Time: 7:00 PM

Rain or shine.

Admission: $10 Members | $20 Non-Members

Space is limited; preregistration recommended.

Celebrating America’s 250th at Southold Historical Museum

Southold Historical Museum is marking the nation’s 250th anniversary with a summer of exhibits, events, and interactive experiences exploring the North Fork’s role in the Revolutionary War.

All Summer (Through Mid-September)

·        The American Revolution in Southold special exhibit—Maple Lane Campus (weekends)

·        Red, White & Blue Quilt Exhibit, Maple Lane Campus — Saturdays in July

·        Maritime Stealth in Southold During the American Revolution special exhibit — Nautical Museum at Horton Point Lighthouse (weekends).

Admission includes all locations.

Event Highlights

·        Celebrate America — North Fork Legacy in the Spirit of 1776 Online Art Exhibit & Sale — July 1–31

·        Independence Day Float at the parade. July 4

·        Lecture: “The Run-Up to the Revolution” — July 10, 1–3 PM

·        Living History Revolutionary Encampment Celebrating America’s Birthday— July 11, 10 AM–3 PM (free admission)

·        “Redcoats & Rebels” History Hunt at Maple Lane Campus

·        North Fork Revolutionary War Trail (visit five museums)
