Growth: The Watch
Saturday, July 19, 4PM
Sunday, July 20, 3PM
In a newly commissioned performance, Growth: The Watch, Kevin Beasley and collaborators examine the constellation of human experiences in the summer season—often referred to as the growing period in agriculture—through gesture, sound, and movement. Backdropped by Proscenium| Growth: The Watch, the performance reveals the body as a steward, shapeshifter, and participant in the environmental conditions of the outdoors through the lens of sharecropping and migration.
