PUBLISHER’S URGENT APPEAL
Art & Architecture Quarterly / East End posts 100+ releases from the major non-profit cultural organizations on the East End , at no charge to those organizations, and has 100+ exclusive portfolios (art, architecture, preservation, landmarks, walking tours) on site. AAQ receives 2,000+ site visits / month.
AAQ is not a nonprofit organization, however, it helps promote programs on the East End, posts exclusive portfolios and does have operating expenses — AAQ needs support, urgently, to continue posting daily. Please consider a donation, which can be made via the Donate tab below or on the Home Page (via PayPal). Resource Plate (ad) support an option, of course, please contact info@aaqeastend.com for rates, regional options, sponsorships, and perks.
Resource Plates support the development of exclusive Portfolios.
Resource Plate or Donation — greatly appreciated.

November 23rd – What hardships are you grateful for?
December 28th – Why are you here?

Still, Small Voice draws its name from the idea of the “still, small voice” within — a quiet, inner voice that guides us in moments of reflection. This monthly gathering, started in 2023 as an artistic experiment, now returns as a community-led practice with rotating facilitators. It invites participants to engage in silent reflection and thoughtful sharing, centered around a question about creativity, community, and being human. We are ever grateful to Nanao Anton and Erling Hope for their contributions, inspirations, and commitment.
This is a space to express and own your voice — and hear others’ authentic voices — in community, free of judgement or reaction.
This is not group therapy, a study group, a political action group, or Quaker Meeting.
Please review our Community Values before attending: Oct 26 | Nov 23 | Dec 28
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Church was established in 2019 by artists Eric Fischl and April Gornik. Housed in a deconsecrated 19th-century church, its doors were opened in April 2021. Our mission is to foster creativity and to honor the living history of Sag Harbor as a maker village. The East End represents an exceptional artistic legacy, spanning the practices of indigenous art of several centuries ago, Abstract Expressionists of the mid-20th Century, and the many celebrated writers, makers, musicians, and visual artists of the recent past and current moment. Core programming includes visual art exhibitions, concerts and events, educational programming, workshops, lectures, and an artist’s residency.
