Reckoning with “The Incident”: John Wilson’s Studies for a Lynching Mural

Alexus Coney, Yale Daily News

“I wasn’t sure what to expect before entering the room, but I’m glad I became witness to Wilson’s work on such a thoughtful and laborious piece.”

James Prosek: Art, Artifact, Artifice

@littleschoolart

——
“I stopped @yaleartgallery especially to see James Prosek: Art, Artifact, Artifice because I have loved his trout paintings ever since I saw them in a random copy of Audubon magazine years ago, but this exhibition was SO MUCH MORE than that.”

Place, Nations, Generations, Beings: 200 Years of Indigenous North American Art

@LisaBaskin

—–
“If you see one exhibition this year, this should be it. Curated by students Katherine Nova McCleary (Little Shell Chippewa-Cree), Leah Tamar Shrestinian, and Joseph Zordan (Bad River Ojibwe). Thank you for teaching me so many lessons.”
