A new month, a new season, and a new face leading the way! We’re excited to welcome Alison Omens as the North Fork Arts Center’s new Executive Director. Alison joins Tony and the NFAC team, along with our incredible community of supporters, in continuing to build the Arts Center as a vibrant cultural hub for the North Fork.
What’s on deck? We’re especially excited about next Saturday’s world premiere of When the Earth Speaks—an unforgettable multimedia performance featuring two original compositions from the Yale School of Music paired with BarTur Award-winning photographs from 86 countries that explore the impacts of the climate crisis. It’s absolutely a must-experience.

For its world premiere, the VISTA Quartet of the Yale School of Music performs two new compositions with photos from 86 countries, coordinated with music and projected onto the screen—sound and image as one. Unfortunately, we had to postpone Saturday night’s performance of Teenage Wasteland with David Dean Bottrell to August. We’re excited to host him then!

Inaugural Piano Concert with Bruce Wolosoff

Join composer-artist Bruce Wolosoff as he inaugurates our new Steinway Model B piano with a solo concert. Wolosoff unites several strands of his artistic world: deep roots as a pianist-composer, a love of blues and American vernacular music and a long engagement with visual art.
The centerpiece of his concert is Rising Sun Variations, Wolosoff’s expansive set of variations on House of the Rising Sun. The program includes Night Paintings, performed with projected images by David Salle, Edvard Munch, Vincent van Gogh and Margaret Garrett, as well as a new work composed specifically for this occasion.
