Basket Weaving Demonstration at Horton Point

——————

The Basket Weavers Guild of Eastern Long Island will be weaving on the grounds of Horton Point Lighthouse Nautical Museum on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 10AM to 3PM. Visitors are welcome to view the work of the Guild as they practice their craft. This is not a class, but all are welcome to observe their skill!

While here, visit the Nautical Museum to see our summer exhibit: Going Places: Ferry Companies of the Long Island Sound, detailing many of the ferry lines that traveled up and down Long Island Sound. Open weekends, 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM through mid-Sept.

As always, the $5 price of admission includes a passport to the Maple Lane Campus of historic buildings and the special exhibits there!

Note: Additional $5 per car parking fee at the Horton Point Town parking lot for non-residents.
