Creativity and creative expression strengthen a community. They connect its people, enrich thoughts and conversations, and make life more interesting. East End Arts & Humanities Council exists because of this community who believes the arts matter and are generous in their support of that belief.

The annual Summer Soirée is a vibrant celebration to honor the artists, educators, advocates, and each other for our shared efforts to make the arts thrive on the East End. It is also a vital investment in opportunities to nourish and inspire the future generation. It creates what’s next.

Please join us August 29th as we celebrate the stories we’ve helped create together and invest in the next chapter, ensuring that the arts continue to inspire, unite, and strengthen our East End community!

Printmaking Juried Exhibition Call to Artists

Calling all printmakers! We are now accepting submissions for “The Print Continuum”, East End Arts Council’s upcoming juried exhibition. This national juried exhibition celebrates the enduring tradition and ongoing evolution of contemporary printmaking, bringing together artists working across the printmaking medium. Jurors Ellen Wiener and Bill Albertini, with curator Mich Miller, aim to highlight artists who demonstrate a strong commitment to the craft, embrace innovation, and expand the expressive possibilities of printmaking.

DETOUR x Sunday Records on August 9

DETOUR extends beyond the gallery for one afternoon as East End Arts Council and Sunday Records come together for a collaborative pop-up celebrating music, vinyl, and art.

From 12:00–5:00 PM, Sunday Records will be spinning a curated playlist on vinyl featuring music by artists included in DETOUR. The exhibition brings together artists whose connections to music span a wide range of practices, representing a generational spectrum of notable musicians alongside contemporary artists whose work intersects with music in unique ways. Browse Sunday Records’ collection while listening to the soundtrack of the exhibition.

From 2:30–5:00 PM, we’ll be live screen printing an exclusive, custom design created by Kevin Teare and Mich Miller. Bring your own T-shirt to have it printed for free, or purchase a blank shirt from us while supplies last and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece created exclusively for the event.
