Cecily Brown’s (British, b. 1969) energetic monumental work, A Day! Help! Help! Another day!, 2016, will be displayed in the Passage beginning in February.
A presentation of works by Kara Walker (American, b. 1969) will be on view in Room 1 and outdoors at Glenstone Museum this spring, highlighting the range of this singular artist.

In Room 1 of the Pavilions, Glenstone recently installed Untitled, 2020–21, a suite of 26 paintings by Wade Guyton (American, b. 1972).
Our presentation of works by artist Doris Salcedo will be closing on January 29. Click below to hear directly from the artist about the works on view.
Michael Heizer (American, b. 1944) was among the first artists to reject the white cube gallery space in favor of the open land of the western United States. Earlier this year, Glenstone announced that it is part of a consortium to steward Heizer’s monumental work, City, in perpetuity. This book, published in 2018, includes an interview with the artist, previously unpublished archival images and extensive process and installation photography.
This catalogue, and numerous other Glenstone publications, are available for purchase at the Book Store in our Arrival Hall.
