In 1994 Robert Dash first opened the gates of Madoo to the public. We’ve all been through a lot in these 30 years and the garden has expanded in ways unimaginable back in those days. The generosity of our donors and guests has allowed the transformation of our little 1.91 acres into a garden and cultural center of international renown. Your passion for this magical garden is greatly appreciated.
To paraphrase Daniel Webster:
It is, Sir, as I have said, a small garden.
And yet there are those who love it.

We are now open on Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. To make an appointment to visit please visit madoo.org. Expanded summer hours will start on June 19.
