EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE AT THE LIGHTHOUSE & PASSOVER SERVICES IN EAST HAMPTON

The Montauk Community Church and St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church will host an ecumenical Easter sunrise service at the Lighthouse at 6am on Sunday, April 17th. The Jewish Center in East Hampton will hold Passover services on Saturday, April 16. For more info., click here. Photo: Matt Kuhn

FREE SAFETY CLASSES FOR FISHERMEN

“THE RISING TIDE – MONTAUK 2042” CLIMATE CHANGE CONVERSATION AT GURNEY’S

GREAT MONTAUK CLEANUP
CCOM’s Great Montauk Cleanup will be held from 10am – 1pm on Saturday, April 30th. To pitch in and help keep Montauk beautiful, stop by their office at 6 So. Elmwood Ave. to pick up gloves and a bucket, then pick a favorite spot to clean. No registration required.

NEW ART EXHIBIT AT THE RANCH

“Ages of Ages,” a new solo exhibit of works by the Los Angeles-based artist known simply as “L” is now on view in the center gallery of the West Barn at The Ranch through April 23rd. Learn more.

BEACON OF HOPE 5K RUN/WALK

The inaugural Beacon of Hope 5K Walk/Run will be held Saturday, June 18th at 9am with a course that runs through Camp Hero and finishes at the Lighthouse. RECYCLING CENTER PERMITS

It’s that time of year, again: Montauk Recycling Center vehicle permits expired on April 1. Make sure to obtain your new permit at the Town Clerk Annex at the Playhouse or via the mail. Cost: $115 for primary self-haulers, $55 for those 65+, and $40 for a secondary-hauler permit. For more info. and an application, click here.

UPDATE: LOCAL COVID TESTING & VACCINATIONS

IN-PERSON TESTING | Testing is available at the Town’s site at 110 Stephen Hand’s Path in Wainscott on Wednesdays and Fridays, from 11am – 5pm. Appointments not required. For a list of all nearby testing locations, click here.
VACCINATIONS & BOOSTERS | Those eligible for a second booster can now obtain one by appointment at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital on Wednesdays from 12 – 6 pm (Pfizer only).
