CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN!

We’re very pleased to share with you an exciting update on the project to complete the historic Playhouse building with an Aquatic Center and multi-purpose Cultural Center. Earlier this month, construction officially began! We’re thrilled to have reached this landmark moment, which was achieved by generous leadership gifts from our donors and the sustained enthusiasm and support of our community.

While construction is underway, the existing Playhouse facilities will remain open, with stringent safety measures in place to ensure the well-being of patrons and staff while minimizing disruptions to the existing facilities, allowing for a smooth, safe, and timely completion of the project.

WHAT’S NEXT? The project to complete the Playhouse has now entered a new phase. As construction moves forward, we’re turning our focus to raising funds to outfit and furnish the newly completed spaces to prepare them for vibrant programming and services that will enhance the quality of life of all members of our community, for years to come. With your financial support, the completed Playhouse will soon be humming with recreational and cultural activities and opportunities. We couldn’t be more thrilled to have reached this stage of the project.

Now, it’s time for our community to commit to investing in our completed Montauk Playhouse Community Center. The future of this project is now in your hands!
