Summer Art Lab 2020 at Home

Let us bring the Museum to you this summer! Our popular Summer Art Lab program has been redesigned to be explored at home in 3 themed week-long sessions. Each weekly session includes several age-appropriate art projects using a variety of materials to engage students in an exploration of art through creativity and imagination. Art Lab is geared for ages 5 – 10, and projects can be differentiated for each student through conversations with our educator Katie. Students will draw, paint, construct, stamp and collage, and creative kits including all the materials needed are provided for pick-up and local delivery.

Week 1 – Mini Museums
July 20 – 24, Finding our muse in the Museum and its exhibitions.
Week 2 – Great Galaxies
July 27 – 31, Boldly exploring artists who use planets, stars and skies in their work.
Week 3 – Houses and Habitats
August 3  – 7, Inspired by homes, animals and places.
