A year ago, we were opening our doors to the public, and so much has happened since then. I couldn’t be more proud of the work we’ve done and the community that has come together to build this local artistic movement with us. As we grow, it’s important to keep sharing the powerful moments our programming creates and the impact they’re having.
We also know life gets busy, and sometimes incredible things can fly under the radar. That’s why, in our first anniversary, we are bringing the Front Row Seat newsletter, a quarterly roundup to keep you in the loop with seasonal updates, so you never miss a beat at NFAC.
Each edition offers a behind-the-scenes look at what just took place and what’s coming up—from surprise artist visits to standout performances—plus the impact we’re building together and how your support helps us stay rooted in community and inspire connection through inclusive cultural arts. It’s your way to stay close to the artists, stories, and moments that make NFAC so special.
In this first issue, we bring you highlights from award-winning filmmakers and acclaimed artists who spent time right here with our community, along with standout art exhibitions and a preview of upcoming performances from Booklyn Ballet and our Summer Workshops designed for anyone ready to lean into their creativity and create impactful art.
With gratitude and excitement,
Tony Spiridakis, Executive Director
