This spring the NFCT will be presenting the musical The Wizard of Oz (WOZ). There are roles for kids ages 8 and up, as well as adults. Join us on November 29th or December 2nd at 6:00 PM at the NFCT to learn more about auditioning and performing at the Theatre. Mary Motto Kalich, the Director of WOZ, and other members of the production team will be there to talk to you about how to be a part of the show.
Auditions for WOZ will be held in February 2025 with performances May 15th through June 1. The NFCT is located at 12700 Old Sound Avenue, Mattituck.
The NFCT provided a caring space with a dedicated theater community for my daughter. She loved performing with the other kids and adults in Oliver! – Laura Kelly, mom of Kathleen Kelly, who was age 12 in Oliver!
I spent so much of my childhood in the theater, it became a fixture of my youth. I would not be the adult I am today, if it weren’t for the people who encouraged me to be silly and whimsical and joyous when performing as a child. I owe my love of the arts and my love for authenticity to oneself to the NFCT. – Raven Janoski (age 11 in Gypsy)
I was excited to be a part of an amazing production and I always looked forward to rehearsals because they were really fun and everyone was so sweet. – Katie Garthe (played the youngest daughter in The Sound of Music)
