“Noises Off” March 14th through 30th!

NEW EVENING START TIME: 7:30PM!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Show Synopsis: In this Michael Frayn comedy, a touring theatre troupe struggles to get through a performance of “Nothing On.” The play-within-a-play format shows us a dress rehearsal, opening performance, and a show near the end of the run, complete with slamming doors, falling trousers, and – yes – flying sardines!
Get a look at how theater really works – or doesn’t! – both on stage and off in this delightful slapstick farce.
NFCT ‘Side Gallery’ Featuring Artist: Alan Bull
Check out Alan Bull’s artwork in the ‘Side Gallery’ before or after the show.
Alan is a painter, musician, illustrator, and art instructor based in Newburyport, MA and Orient, NY. Originally from Maine, he received a BFA from the Philadelphia College of Art and has painted images of New England for the past 30 years. Primarily a visual artist, he has also worked in music and theater and has enjoyed improvisational performance collaborations with guitarist Dave Herlihy, Hidden City Orchestra, The Parrish Percussion Project, and the composer Herbert Deutsch.
Alan’s works are widely collected and have been seen in feature films, in children’s books (Augustus and Me; Fisherman Fred), on album covers (including Ian Hunter’s new release Defiance Part 1 on Sun Records), and in print media including Architectural Digest, The New York Times and The Boston Globe. Alan has been a participant in Cape Ann Plein Air and Parrsboro International Plein Air Festival, and offers classes and workshops throughout New England.
“I have admired Alan Bull’s deep and evocative art for many years. He has a keen eye for what is essential and for what is true, and he merges this gift with an abiding love for the natural world we human beings are fortunate to call home. Not many artists have earned the right to be called masters, but Alan Bull has many times over. He is a national treasure.” ~ Andre Dubus III, author of Townie and House of Sand and Fog
