Visit the Parrish this Friday, March 15, to join us for a jam-packed lineup of programs to engage with the arts. At 3 PM, high school students in Grades 9-12 are invited to embark on a scavenger hunt and enjoy free pizza. At 5 PM, join us for a Curator-led tour of Across the Avenues, led by Kaitlin Halloran, Assistant Curator and Publications Coordinator. At 6 PM, join us for a bilingual tour of Across the Avenues, led by a Parrish Docent, in English and Spanish. At 6:30 PM, in celebration of Women’s History Month, the Parrish Art Museum presents a screening of FRIDA, co-presented with Cinema Tropical and Hamptons Doc Fest.* Visit our website to learn more and register for these exciting programs!

Museum Members are invited to join us for a morning dedicated to our members. Walk through the Museum’s galleries and meet and mingle with Parrish staff and other members. Museum docents will be stationed throughout the galleries available to answer your questions about the exhibitions on view, the artists participating in the collection exhibitions, or other art questions you may have. Coffee and bagels will be served in the Café and special discounts will be available in the Museum Shop. Registration is requested.

ENJOY | Culture Club Spring Break Trip: The MET Cloisters
TUESDAY, APRIL 23 at 8 AM

High school students in Grades 9–12 are invited to expand their art experiences beyond the East End and get to know their peers who share a passion for art. Participants will travel by bus from the Parrish to Manhattan for a visit to The MET Cloisters. Explore works of art and architecture that reveal daily life, beliefs, and cross-cultural exchange in medieval Europe. Fee includes round-trip private bus, museum admission, and lunch. CREATE | After-School Art Workshops 

The Parrish’s After School Art workshops are designed for children in Kindergarten through Grade 8 to learn about artists, be inspired by works of art, and create their own artwork. Registration is now open for Session II of Middle School Makers. HIGHLIGHT | Casey Kleister Meyer

Casey Kleister Meyer is a painter and visual arts educator based on Long Island. She began her career at the Parrish in 2018 as an intern, and is now the Education Programs Manager overseeing a variety of school, community, teen, and children’s classes. Casey sees the arts as a way to connect people to each other and new ideas. She and her husband share one child together as well as two bunnies. In her free time, Casey enjoys a good karaoke session with her twin sister and extended family.
