Parrish Art Museum: ‘Artists Choose Artists 2019’ Opening Reception / Exhibition, November 10

The Trustees and the Director of the Parrish Art Museum invite you to a special reception celebrating the opening reception of two new exhibitions:

ARTISTS CHOOSE ARTISTS 2019
The Parrish’s triennial exhibition celebrates the dynamic relationships of artists on the East End. Jurors: Lillian Ball, Ralph Gibson, Valerie Jaudon, Jill Moser, Alexis Rockman, Lucien Smith, Allan Wexler. Artists: Irina Alimanestianu, Mary Boochever, Scott Bluedorn, Janet Culbertson, Margaret Garrett, Tria Giovan, Janet Goleas, Priscilla Heine, Thomas Hoepker, Ronald Reed, Bastienne Schmidt, Anne Seelbach, Dan Welden, Mark William Wilson.

WHAT WE SEE, HOW WE SEE
A series of seven special exhibitions, What We See, How We See explores important themes and concepts in American art by juxtaposing distinct image-making approaches of a wide range of artists working in abstraction, figuration, and photorealism; plus a gallery of new acquisitions from the Saul Steinberg Foundation.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 11 AM–1 PM

Join us in the Lichtenstein Theater at 11:15 am for an introductory program followed immediately by a reception in the Norman and Liliane Peck/The Peter Jay Sharp Foundation Lobby.

This invitation admits two and is not transferrable. Due to limited capacity in the Lichtenstein Theater, attendance to the program is on a first come, first served basis.
