Help save and restore the historic 1747 Case House!
As more and more of our historic homes and heritage disappear across the East End, we knew we had to act quickly to save the Moses Luther Case House.

This 1747 historic home was vacant and in disrepair in the summer of 2018 when the owner contacted us. He offered to donate it to us as long as we moved it.

Luckily, we had the perfect spot! Cleo’s Corner on Horton’s Lane and Route 48.

While the house has finished its move, the project has only just begun.

Your gift to the Case House will allow us to carefully restore as much of the period detailing as possible. We’ll also update the electric, plumbing, roof, and add bathrooms and a kitchen to make it livable for a modern family.

We’re especially excited about this project. Next door to the house is a 5-acre farm field owned by the Trust. Combining this historic home with preserved farmland to create a farmstead is exactly what we strive to do. It shows how the past and present can not only coexist, but also sustain one another.
