Our alumni have gone on to win prizes at top international competitions, including the Cliburn, Gilmore, and Naumburg, and have performed on some of the world’s most celebrated stages. They have taken leadership roles in academia, chamber music (Anderson & Roe Piano Duo met at Pianofest!), and innovative performance projects like The Concert Truck and In A Landscape.

And most recently, Pianofest alum Michelle Cann—who serves as our Artist-in-Residence—won her second GRAMMY Award, this one alongside soprano Karen Slack for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album with Beyond The Years – Unpublished Songs of Florence Price.
