Every summer, Peconic Land Trust brings our community together for Through Farms & Fields, a festive country supper that celebrates the farms, landscapes, and people who make the East End such an extraordinary place. We would be honored to have you join us for this special evening—and to partner with us in protecting Long Island’s working farms, natural habitats, and scenic landscapes, for generations to come.

Save the Woodlands: Learn to Control Invasive Plants
Broad Cove, Overlook Drive, Riverhead

April 18th 10am-12pm

Honor Planet Earth this week by learning how you can help free our landscape of invasive plants. Led by Cassandra Moise, Education and Outreach Manager of the L.I. Invasive Species Management Area, along with members of the Peconic Land Trust’s stewardship team, you’ll learn how to identify invasive plants and best practices for their removal. Bring work gloves and a shovel or loppers, if you have them, other hand tools along with refreshments will be provided. Earth Day Celebration 
Quogue Wildlife Refuge, Old Country Road, Quogue 

April 25th 12pm-3pm

Bring the family and visit us today at this annual celebration in honor of Earth Day! Enjoy guided walks, live animal presentations, crafts, and self-guided kayaking and canoeing. Stop by our table and plant seeds to take home for your garden! This event is in partnership with Eastern LI Audubon Society and the Quogue Wildlife Refuge.

Earth Day Birdhouse Decorating Event 
Bridge Gardens, 36 Mitchell Lane, Bridgehampton 

April 25th 1pm-4pm

The Shine Studio and Peconic Land Trust invite families, friends, and nature lovers to celebrate Earth Day with a creative afternoon at Bridge Gardens. Guests can decorate birdhouses using upcycled and natural materials, then hang their finished creations along the garden’s Wisteria Arbor for a colorful, day‑long display inspired by nature. Pre-registration required. Cost $10 per birdhouse​
