Natural History of Long Island Hike

Join Dr. David Taylor, Assistant Professor in the Sustainability Studies Program and director of Environmental Humanities at SUNY Stony Brook University’s School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, for a guided hike at the Refuge. During the walk you will learn the natural history of Long Island, how it was formed, as well as the common flora and fauna of the Pine Barrens.
Registration is required, as space is limited. This program is geared towards adults and interested teens; $5/person.
