At its core, New York Jazz Mission is a solid trio consisting of drums, bass, and piano, led by Long Island local Milton Hernandez. Following in the tradition of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, NYJM boasts a roster of outstanding musicians who are well versed in many musical styles and are dedicated to mastery of instrument.

Whether performing on a jazz stage, or at weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and all occasions both public and private, New York Jazz Mission always brings a great performance and a great time!

Join us as we celebrate history through music! Through this summer music concert series we will feature local artists performing classical piano, country, folk, Latin guitar, jazz standards, and classical violin. Choose your favorite, or register to enjoy them all!

These concerts are free but registration is required for reserved seating. 

June 15 – J.K. Hodge – Classical  Pianist
June 22 – Homegrown String Band – Folk Music
June 29 – Country Fried Tom – Country Music
July 6 – D. A. Sempre – Brazilian / Bossa Nova Guitar
July 13 – New York Jazz Mission – Jazz
July 20 – Akiko Kobayashi – Classical Violin
