Historic Homes Calendar
Proceeds to Shelter Island History Museum

Last summer, Karen Kiaer, Shelter Island D.A.R. historian, researched and produced a 2025 calendar of historic homes. The proceeds of $2,000 were donated to the Shelter Island History Museum in honor of D. Jean Dickerson, and will be used to hire an intern to process Shelter Island Daughters of the American Revolution documents, which will be preserved in the Museum’s archives.

The donation was presented to the Shelter Island History Museum Board of Directors, and its executive director.
“We are honored to have been chosen as the caretakers of these important documents” said Nanette Lawrenson, SIHM executive director.
