Joyful Dinner Recap

—————————–

Thank you to all who joined us this past Sunday at Noah’s in Greenport. We had the exceptional pleasure of hosting out second installment to the Slow Food USA Joyful Dinner Series. Through this dinner series, we were encouraged to celebrate local, seasonal ingredients, and the people who cultivate them.

The intimate evening was a joyous time of gathering around an intentionally prepared meal with community. Thank you all so much for joining and contributing to a future where food is a source of joy, justice, and connection.

Calling All Flour Power Baker

It’s The Yeast We Can Do!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello Flour Power Bakers,
It’s time to get out your baking pans! Slow Food East End is once again supporting CAST’s Thanksgiving baskets with donations of homemade bread and pies, bringing a little extra warmth to our neighbors’ holiday tables.
CAST has an even greater number of recipients to support this year, so please bake as many loaves as you can. Pie donations are also welcome! Whether you’re an experienced baker or trying your hand for the first time, we welcome your participation. Every contribution makes a difference.
Please deliver your donations to CAST on Thursday, November 19, by 1 pm. The Slow Food East End cooler will be out, with bread bags and labels available for your use. CAST (Center for Advocacy, Support and Transformation) is located at 53930 Main Road, Southold, NY.
Thank you for sharing your time, talent and generosity to help make Thanksgiving more nourishing and joyful for our community.
