Join us for an exciting Spring Break program for kids of any age! During this program children have the opportunity to learn about historic farming and learn about certain medicinal plants that would have been found in herb gardens and learn about the large Mulberry Tree that sits on the Rogers Mansion lawn. Kids will also be able to plant and take home a flower!

Join us for an exciting Spring Break program for kids of any age! This one-of-a-kind program places children behind the archivist desk! Kids will be given proper tools to borrow while researching and making predications about historic items. This program is focused on developing critical thinking skills, but not to worry, this amazing experience is available to kids from 6-18!

Rogers Mansion Museum Complex

17 Meeting House Lane, Southampton

Headquarters of the Southampton History Museum since 1943, featuring an assemblage of 12 historic structures spanning nearly 400 years of local history, anchored by the spectacular Rogers Mansion.

Halsey House & Garden

249 South Main Street, Southampton

One of the oldest English colonial homesteads in New York State. The Halsey family first settled here in 1648 and built this house ca. 1683.

Pelletreau Silver Shop

80 Main Street, Southampton

This tiny building, constructed ca. 1686, is one the oldest continuously operated places of business in the United States. Most famously, it was once the workshop of American patriot and silversmith, Elias Pelletreau (1726-1810).

Conscience Point

1640 Conscience Point Rd, Southampton

A historic site and nature walk commemorating the landing of Southampton’s first English settlers in 1640. Upon reaching the shore, one of the settlers is said to have exclaimed, “For Conscience sake, dry land!”
