Mark your calendars for the final lecture in Southold Historical Museum’s free winter series titled “Keeping It Rooted on Long Island” with Chef Tom Schaudel at 5pm on April 8 at Southold Town Recreation Center, 970 Peconic Lane, Peconic.

Renowned Chef Tom Schaudel will share his experience with using fresh, local ingredients that have delighted many restaurant guests. Schaudel will not only share stories from his remarkable history in the restaurant industry, he will also demonstrate some of his own “Farm to Table” culinary creations.

Part of the “Farm to Table: A Not So New Concept” free lecture series sponsored by Poliwoda Team of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

This leather campaign hat for the “Southold Wide Awake” Club was worn by Nathanial Hubbard Cleveland (1834-1922). The Wide Awake Club was a nationwide grassroots paramilitary group that supported Abraham Lincoln’s 1860 presidential run.

Please join us at the upcoming “Burger and a Beer” fundraising event at Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. in Peconic on April 24th from 4pm to 8pm. You can enjoy a delicious burger or cheeseburger, fries, and a refreshing beer in a fun and casual atmosphere.

Tickets can be purchased online at Southold Historical Museum’s website with a small online processing fee, or at the Museum Offices at 54325 Main Rd., Southold, Mon. – Fri., 10am – 2pm. Tickets are also available at the door on the day of the event with cash or check only. Each ticket costs $30 pp and includes the tip. You can also participate in the 50/50 raffle for a chance to win! All proceeds from the event will benefit Southold Historical Museum. Preregister Now for Our Upcoming

Pickleball Tournament

Come enjoy a day of fun and friendly community competition!

Preregistration is now open for our 2024 “History in the Making” Pickleball Tournament. The tournament will take place on Saturday, June 1 at Tasker Park, 970 Peconic Lane, Peconic, with a rain date of June 2.

Intermediate, advanced intermediate, and advanced players are encouraged to register for the change-partner, round-robin format. Preregistration fee is $55 up until April 14 and includes a tournament t-shirt, gift bag, and refreshments. After April 15, registration is $60. Due to limited players, preregistration is encouraged to avoid being shut out. Whether you come to play or watch, audience raffle tickets will be available for a chance to win some great prizes.
