“History in the Making” Golf Tournament Registration & Sponsor Opportunities

You’re invited to participate in Southold Historical Museum’s “History in the Making Golf Tournament”.

 

Golf Foursome or Individual Packages are available, including green fees, cart, locker, driving range, gift bag, dinner, and drinks. Various contests will be held! during the Tournament. Non-players may reserve the Dinner Only Package.

The tournament is in Honor Posthumously of Thomas P. Grattan, Sr.

Two-Day Antiques, Fine Art, and Crafts Fair Next Weekend

Join us for the Summer Antiques, Fine Art, and Crafts Fair, held on the beautiful grounds of the Maple Lane Complex at 55200 Main Road, Southold, from 9am – 5pm, July 27 and 28.

Not only will you find some unique treasures, you can also WIN some! The $5/adult admission includes a raffle with great prizes donated by local artists and businesses!

There will be vendors selling fine art, antiques, pottery, photography, handmade crafts, and vintage treasures. There will also be live music! Join us as we partner with the Old Town Arts and Crafts Guild to present this two-day event.

A Volunteer Job with a View!

The Nautical Museum at Horton Point Lighthouse is looking for docents (guides) to help welcome visitors and showcase our historic exhibits. We invite you to consider sharing your talents with us by volunteering.

Prospective docents are encouraged to shadow our current volunteers to get a feel for the role. You have the flexibility to volunteer as much or as little as you’d like, making it a rewarding experience. Call us at 631-765-5500 or find out more in link below.

Ten Squared: After the Peconic Bay Impressionists Online Exhibit & Sale

Ten Squared: After the Peconic Bay Impressionists online exhibit is now live on our website and runs through August 31.

Artists are showing pieces of art that are 10” x 10”. At the turn of the 20th Century, artists were drawn to the East End for its light and beauty. In this exhibit, we feature the Peconic Bay Artists of the 21st Century.

Everyone is invited to view the artists’ work! You may consider a purchase for $100, half of which will benefit Southold Historical Museum. Thank you.

Purchase Admission Tickets Online During the MTA Away Promotion

Looking for something fun to do with friends or family? You can take advantage of our special promotion and purchase an MTA Away Passport online that provides admission to BOTH the Nautical Museum at Horton Point Lighthouse and the historic Maple Lane Complex for $5 pp or $10 families.

Taking the train to Southold is encouraged, but not required (there is an add’l $5 per car parking fee at Horton Point for non-residents). Tickets must be purchased by July 31 and are good through Sept. 15.
