This weekend is the last chance to view the Ten Squared: The Natural World Around Us online art exhibit & sale. The exhibit on our website ends Dec. 15.

Local artwork makes a wonderful gift for someone on your list. Perhaps you would consider a purchase?

The artwork is inspired by the changing seasons and landscape, as well as a love of nature and growing things. Many scenes are recognizable in Southold.

All artwork is submitted in a 10″ by 10″ format and is offered for sale for $100, half of which benefits the museum.

The North Fork Promotion Council’s Holiday Stroll will be held this Saturday, Dec. 14 and you’re invited to tour the beautifully decorated Maple Lane Complex of historic buildings from 1pm to 4pm. The buildings are still adorned with all their holiday splendor.

Our Museum Gift Shop and Treasure Exchange at the Prince Building will also be open from 11am-3pm.

The Holiday Stroll will take place across the North Fork that day, and the Museum is participating by opening its doors and welcoming visitors. Admission to the Complex is free; donations gladly accepted.

Know someone who loves local gifts? Visit the Museum Gift Shop where you’ll find books on local history, local artists, and even local recipes. Area maps, wine-related goods, thoughtful giftware, children’s gifts, and historic postcards also available. Open 10am – 2pm, Monday – Friday. The Museum Gift Shop will be open this Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11am – 3pm during the North Fork Holiday Stroll.

Treasure Exchange 20% off Sale

Find your treasure at the Treasure Exchange. Right now, take 20% off everything in the store and 50% off all holiday items! Find antiques, fine art, home décor, accessories, hostess gifts, vintage children’s toys, and more. Open Thursday and Friday, from 10am – 4pm, and Saturday, from 11am – 3pm.

We were so pleased to welcome the community to the Annual Candlelight Tour & Tree Lighting on Nov. 29 at the historic Maple Lane Complex.

This beloved event features magical holiday decorations in the historic houses; demonstrations by volunteers; children’s games; music; tree lighting; and visits with Santa in the barn!
