Third Annual Pickleball Tournament

Benefit Southold Historical Museum

Back by popular demand is the Southold Historical Museum’s Pickleball Tournament. Started in 2022, this fundraising event has brought new faces and healthful vigor to the Museum activity. A cross between tennis and racquetball, pickleball is an inspiring sport for people of all ages. On June 1, supporters are invited to get moving, take in some fresh air, and make some friends all while supporting Southold Historical Museum.

Intermediate and advanced players are encouraged to register for the June 1 event (rain date June 2), which takes place at the Southold Town pickleball courts at Tasker Park, 2580 Peconic Lane, Peconic, NY 11958. There are two tournaments to choose from.

The morning tournament which runs from 9am to noon is change partner, round-robin format. The registration fee is $60 for the morning tournament. The morning tournament fills quickly and the committee chair is now taking names for a waiting list. New this year is an afternoon, competitive tournament which is a gender blind, double elimination format. The registration fee for the afternoon tournament which begins at 12:30pm is $45. Both fees include a tournament t-shirt, gift bag, and refreshments. Due to limited number of players, advanced registration is suggested to avoid being shut out.
