Join us for a special free winter lecture at Southold Town Recreation Center in Peconic featuring renowned Chef Tom Schaudel. The event will take place this Monday, Apr. 8 at 5pm (time has been changed from 4pm).

Chef Schaudel will discuss “Keeping It Rooted on Long Island”, sharing his expertise in utilizing fresh, local ingredients to craft delightful culinary creations. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear stories from Chef Schaudel’s extensive history in the restaurant industry. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn from a culinary master and immerse yourself in the flavors of Long Island.

Preregister now through Apr. 14 for the Community Pickleball Tournament

The preregistration discount for the upcoming 2024 “History in the Making” Pickleball Tournament is available through Apr. 14, so sign up now!

The tournament will take place on Saturday, June 1 at Tasker Park, 970 Peconic Lane, Peconic, with a rain date of June 2. Intermediate, advanced intermediate, and advanced players are encouraged to register. Preregistration fee is $55 and includes a tournament t-shirt, gift bag, and refreshments. After April 14, registration is $60. Due to limited players, preregistration is encouraged to avoid being shut out.

“Burger and a Beer” Fundraiser at Greenport Harbor Brewing Co.

You’re invited to Southold Historical Museum’s “Burger and a Beer” fundraising event at Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. in Peconic on April 24 from 4pm to 8pm.

You can enjoy a delicious burger or cheeseburger (smash burger style), fries, and a refreshing beer in a fun and casual atmosphere. (Vegetarian option available by request, and wine available for a modest upcharge.) Tickets can be purchased online at Southold Historical Museum’s website with a small online processing fee, or at the Museum Offices at 54325 Main Rd., Southold, Mon. – Fri., 10am – 2pm.

Tickets are also available at the door on the day of the event with cash or check only. Each ticket costs $30 pp and includes the tip. You can also participate in the 50/50 raffle for a chance to win! All proceeds from the event will benefit Southold Historical Museum. We hope to see you there!
