Treasure Exchange Closed Until Jan. 17

Our Treasure Exchange Shop at the Prince Building will be closed until January 17, when we will reopen with winter hours Fridays and Saturdays only, 11am – 3pm.

Our Treasure Exchange shop offers antiques, fine art, home décor, accessories, local books, hostess gifts, children’s toys, and more. The assortment is always changing and we invite you to come browse after January 17.

Museum Gift Shop Open Year-Round

While the Treasure Exchange is closed temporarily, our Museum Gift Shop at the Prince Building on Main Street, Southold is open YEAR-ROUND Monday to Friday from 10am – 2pm.

Know someone who loves local gifts? You’ll find area maps, wine-related goods, thoughtful giftware, children’s gifts, local books, historic postcards, and more.

Collections Corner: Paradise Sweets

Recently, Rita and Mike Hagerman very generously donated their photo and document archives to the Museum from years of publishing the Peconic Bay Shopper– it was Christmas and our Birthday all rolled into one donation!

This photo from the Hagerman Collection is of the famous Paradise Sweets. On the back of the image the men are partially identified –L-R: Joe Mazzaferro, George Conklin, George Monsell (not positive) and Tommy Profess (?).

Winterfest 2025 Coming to Southold February 8

Join us for a day of winter fun at the Fourth Annual Southold Winterfest on Saturday, Feb. 8. Don’t miss the chance to explore our historic Maple Lane Complex, which will be open for tours from 11am to 2pm.

Be sure to stop by the shops at the Prince Building, where you can enjoy special sales at the Treasure Exchange and the Museum Gift Shop.
