Supporting Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe and Long Island’s rich history has never been more crucial. On November 21, 2023, a significant fire severely damaged Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, threatening the progress of our ambitious $20-million restoration and redevelopment program. While the main structure remains standing, the fire inflicted serious damage to key architectural elements, including the original 1901 roof, chimney, and cupola, which had been carefully restored in recent years.

By attending this event, you’re not just watching a film; you’re preserving Long Island’s historical legacy. Tesla Science Center’s mission to transform Wardenclyffe into a global innovation center, educational facility, and museum is more important than ever. The path to restoration is complex and requires substantial resources. By attending this fundraiser, community members can play a crucial role in supporting the recovery efforts that will allow this historic site to continue inspiring future generations.

Why This Matters to Long Islanders: The funds raised from this event will help support the essential stabilization and cleanup efforts needed to preserve Wardenclyffe Laboratory. This is an opportunity for Long Islanders to celebrate and safeguard a piece of our shared heritage, Tesla’s last standing laboratory, right here in our backyard. This is a rare opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy a powerful film, and directly contribute to the safeguarding of a historic treasure that stands as a testament to the genius of Nikola Tesla.
