Fourth Annual Spring Jubilee!

This family-fun day celebrates spring, creativity, and community and has a little something for everyone. Enjoy interactive exhibition activations, specifically designed for kids and their families. Get hands-on during our Creativity Bubble with loads of arts and crafts activities that will spark creativity and fill your day with joy. Grab lunch from K-Pasa and Sen out in our garden. Take a stroll through The Sag Saturdays: Off Main Market on our main floor, a new feature that brings together some of Sag Harbor’s wonderful makers and entrepreneurs.

11 AM – 12 PM: THE “LITTLE” EXHIBITION TOUR (included in pass)

Explore The Church, learn about art, and let the little ones ring The Church bell! In this exhibition tour, specifically designed for ages 3 – 7, engages the little ones in various interactive activities. Learn about our latest exhibition, A Thousand Words: The Photography of The New Yorker in a way that’s fun and easy for the whole family to enjoy.

12 PM – 2 PM: CREATIVITY BUBBLE (included in pass)

Create a family birdhouse, plant a seed in your own tiny take home planter, and get your hands on some model magic clay in our Creativity Lab. Step outside and enjoy the ever popular Slime workshop courtesy Hamptons Community Outreach. Let your imagination run wild as you visit our face painter and transform into a character of your own choosing. Blow actual bubbles in our garden.

12 PM – 2 PM: ON-SITE LUNCH POP-UP (pay on-site per order)

Grab a taco (and a margarita!) from K-Pasa or pick out your favorite Sushi roll from Sen! We gratefully welcome our community partners for the afternoon. Whether here for the Jubilee or just passing through, stop by and grab a lite bite at The Church. All food is pay per order. Cash and Card accepted.

2 PM – 3:30 PM: SCAVENGER HUNT (included in pass)

Team up and race the clock to see if you can answer the riddles and find all the hidden gems throughout The Church. Designed for kids ages 7 -12, this afternoon activity will delight and tickle your brain as you employ your creativity to solve the clues.

11 AM – 3 PM: SAG SATURDAY: OFF-MAIN MARKET (free)

This year The Church is thrilled to partner with Sag Saturdays to host the Off-Main Market.

“The Sag Saturdays: Off-Main Market brings together a curated mix of local brands beyond Main Street – creating new opportunities for discovery and connection in the village. Sag Harbor is a fiercely independent community, and this is about making sure more of our non-storefront business can be part of that—supporting them through the off-season whilst giving people more reasons to visit the village.” – Penny Siebert, Founder of Brand Harbor and leading Sag Saturdays’ non-storefront initiative

The Church was established in 2019 by artists Eric Fischl and April Gornik. Housed in a deconsecrated 19th-century church, its doors were opened in April 2021. Our mission is to foster creativity and to honor the living history of Sag Harbor as a maker village. The East End represents an exceptional artistic legacy, spanning the practices of indigenous art of several centuries ago, Abstract Expressionists of the mid-20th Century, and the many celebrated writers, makers, musicians, and visual artists of the recent past and current moment. Core programming includes visual art exhibitions, concerts and events, educational programming, workshops, lectures, and an artist’s residency.
