Anthony Lucero is an award-winning filmmaker and ILM visual effects alumnus (Star Wars, Iron Man) whose acclaimed debut feature, East Side Sushi, earned 15 festival awards and a 95% Rotten Tomatoes score. His latest feature, Paper Bag Plan, has won 15 festival awards and was praised by the Geena Davis Institute as “a blueprint for authentic disability storytelling.” Inspired by his own family’s experience, Lucero is an alumnus of the Disney Diverse Directors Program and has served as a U.S. State Department Film Envoy.
