Helen A. Harrison, the director of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center in East Hampton, is a former New York Times art critic, NPR arts commentator, and curator of the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton and Guild Hall Museum in East Hampton.

An authority on 20th century American art, she is the author of several books, including Hamptons Bohemia: Two Centuries of Artists and Writers on the Beach (with Constance Ayers Denne), monographs on Jackson Pollock and Larry Rivers, and, most recently, three mystery novels (the “Art of Murder” mystery series).
