John Adams Dix Windmill to be Restored in 2025
Thank you! to all those who contributed funds for moving the John Adams Dix Windmill to the Great Lawn in Westhampton Beach where it will be restored and open to the public.
The Village of Westhampton Beach, in coordination with the Town of Southampton Community Preservation Fund, is set to undertake the restoration work starting this fall. A contractor has been selected and plans are being finalized.
Once complete, the Windmill will grace the northwest corner of the Great Lawn, next to the roundabout, presenting an imposing presence to this entrance to the Village. Please plan to take a look as the work progresses in 2025!
