Pollock-Krasner House director at Book Hampton

Helen A. Harrison, director of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center, will read from her mystery novel, An Exquisite Corpse: Death in Surrealist New Yorkon Saturday, April 22 at 5 p.m. at Book Hampton, 41 Main Street, East Hampton. Copies will be available for sale.

Set in the sexually liberated New York art world of the 1940s, populated by European artists in exile and young Americans itching to take over the avant-garde, Harrison’s tale is an amalgam of truth and invention. That turbulent era’s creative ferment is the backdrop for a desperate crime and its lethal consequences.
