Michael Heizer (American, b. 1944) was among the first artists to reject the white cube gallery space in favor of the open land of the western United States. Earlier this year, Glenstone announced that it is part of a consortium to steward Heizer’s monumental work, City, in perpetuity. This book, published in 2018, includes an interview with the artist, previously unpublished archival images and extensive process and installation photography.
This catalogue, and numerous other Glenstone publications, are available for purchase at the Book Store in our Arrival Hall.
