———————-

The Hampton Theatre Company will hold AUDITIONS for the role of Nick in a new production of Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? by Edward Albee. Directed by George Loizides, the production opens May 22 and runs through June 8, 2025. After a read-through on April 3, rehearsals will begin April 15.

Auditions will be by appointment from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, January 20, and Tuesday, January 21, at the Quogue Community Hall: 125 Jessup Avenue, Quogue, NY 11959. Auditions will be from the script.

SUMMARY: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? examines the complexities of the marriage of middle-aged couple Martha and George. Late one evening, after a university faculty party, they receive an unwitting younger couple, Nick and Honey, as guests, and draw them into their bitter and frustrated relationship.

The roles of George, Martha, and Honey have been cast.

Nick: Mid to late 30s; self-possessed and ambitious Midwestern biology professor; athletic build; protective of Honey but treats her like a child.

To schedule an audition appointment, contact info@hamptontheatre.org, or call 631-653-8955.
