Executive Director – Landmark’s Executive Director will be a charismatic
and strategic leader for this dynamic organization.

Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
Fundraising / Development
- Establish and steward relationships with LOMS’s existing and potential supporters, including corporations, in coordination with Development Director
- Oversee implementation of ticket sales and fundraising appeals
- Identify and pursue relevant foundation and government grants
Fiscal
- Work with staff accountant and Board finance committee to prepare annual budget
- Ensure compliance with fiscal policies and procedures
- Assume cash management responsibility
- Communicate with Board as to the fiscal health of LOMS
- Work with auditors to create on-time and precise required filings
Personnel
- Attract and retain quality professional staff and volunteers
- Supervise and cultivate staff to achieve mission of LOMS
- Pursue training and education for development of staff skills
Community Building
- Seek opportunities to create partnerships with organizations for the betterment of LOMS and the community
- Represent LOMS at community, political, and social functions
Board Communication
- Inform the Board of relevant policy, operational and community issues
- Ensure the LOMS website is consistently up to date
- Attend full Board and Executive Committee meetings
- Attend or have appropriate staff members attend committee meetings
Programming
- Oversee booking and contracting of performers, presenters, etc. through direct negotiation or third-party advisors
- Consult with Board, advisors, and donors on programming to best serve community and to attract new audiences
- Maximize theater and gym rentals as a source of revenue and service to the community
- Ensure programs and performances are professionally executed and produced
Event Management
- Pre-show planning in coordination with relevant staff
- Day of show presence, arrive early, greet guests, introduce artists, and announce upcoming shows
Marketing
- Oversee marketing staff to meet or exceed projected ticket sales
- Develop and maintain consistent branding of LOMS’s events
- Maximize press coverage of all programs
Building and Sub-Tenant Management
- Plan and execute major maintenance and capital projects
- Support and maintain positive relationships with building residents and sub-tenants
- Negotiate leases
- Oversee custodial staff
- Coordinate space usage among sub-tenants
Salary is commensurate with experience: $115-135.
