The Garden Rooms at Madoo

The Madoo Conservancy is proud to present The Garden Rooms at Madoo. The four outdoor living vignettes were unveiled on June 15, 2024

The Garden Rooms at Madoo, are located in the tapestry hedge rooms adjacent to our newly built Rill in the Winter House Lawn. The inaugural designers are West Chin, Munder-Skiles, Charlotte Moss and Melanie Roy. The garden rooms at Madoo will be up through June 29, 2024.

Melanie Roy, founder of Melanie Roy Designs created a “Garden Rec Room” complete with a Blatt Billiards outdoor foosball table, outdoor lounge furniture from Dedon and a woven rattan umbrella standing light fixture. A blue and white scheme with a Neo-classical goddess sculpture was freshened up with towers of fragrant white Jasmine and giant bamboo plants in by Charlotte Moss in her “Behind the Hedge” space. A modern black and white upholstered tête à tête from Living Divani anchored the“Alfresco Cocktail Lounge” designed by West Chin,  founder of West Chin Architects and Interior Designers. The Art Deco inspired all-weather rattan collection named Chareau after the early 20th century French architect is featured in the Munder-Skiles room designed by Colin DeLeo.

Thank You For a Wonderful

Much Ado About Madoo!

On Saturday, June 15, we celebrated our 30th anniversary as a public garden. The weather was glorious and a good time was had by all at our daytime market and evening cocktail party. Heartfelt thanks our host committee members, guests, vendors and sponsors. More photos from the event HERE.

And, we couldn’t have managed without Fremont Blue Events, Philippa Weissman who so kindly let us use her field for valet parking, the Graphics Office for the impeccable design work, and Canard Inc for the delicious taste treats.
