2023: OUR YEAR IN REVIEW

This has been a banner year for our mission to complete the historic Playhouse building with an Aquatic Center and multi-purpose Cultural Center!

We’ve been working in close collaboration with the East Hampton Town Board, our public partner, and throughout this year we’ve made great strides together in moving this project forward. These milestones wouldn’t be possible without the hundreds of volunteers and thousands of donors who have generously given their time, talent and resources to this essential community project—and we are so thankful to you!

• In January, a Feasibility Study/Stakeholder Report was completed and presented by James Lima Planning + Development, validating the project’s viability and the community’s NEED for a facility that offers swimming instruction, lifeguard training, aquatic wellness and fitness programs, AND flexible-use community space for recreational, educational, cultural, and social opportunities.

As these exciting plans move forward, our fundraising efforts to complete the multi-purpose Cultural Center on the 2nd floor are continuing.

We are thrilled that the project to complete the Playhouse is coming to fruition.

Now, we need your financial support to bring it to the finish line.
