Andy Warhol and Toulouse-Lautrec in one building.

Andy Warhol Portfolios: A Life in Pop | Works from the Bank of America Collection, a sweeping survey of his full career, includes Marilyn Monroe, Muhammad Ali, Campbell’s Soup and many of his other signature icons in one colorful extravaganza.

La Belle Époque, curated by Director Emerita Constance Schwartz, celebrates the age of elegance between 1880 and the eve of World War I in Paris. Paintings and prints by Degas and Toulouse-Lautrec and luminous decorative objects by Tiffany bring the opulent era to life.

Pop Prints, from the Museum’s permanent collection, includes works by Robert Rauschenberg, Robert Indiana, Alexander Calder, Roy Lichenstein and artists inspired by the sixties Pop art movement.

NCMA’s Sculpture Garden in summer, includes over 40 sculptures by Richard Serra, Allen Bertoldi, Marc di Suvero, Ana Mercedes Hoyas, Richard Hunt, Tom Otterness and more. See our new addition by Joel Perlman.

Using Roger Shattuck’s brilliant book The Banquet Years, we spend some time at the keyboard with the mesmerizing Gymnopedies. By comparison we sample Warhol’s images of Mick Jagger, David Bowie and other rock stars.

Led by an art therapist, each session will take its’ inspiration from the art on view in the galleries for a private guided experience that takes place in the Museum before it opens to the general public. Attendees must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
