18th Annual North Fork Foodie Tour

Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Since 2007, the North Fork Foodie Tour has become one of the North Fork’s iconic events providing a unique opportunity to take a deep dive into one of the key features that makes the North Fork so appealing: it’s farms, vineyards and other food and beverage producers.
Ticket holders can chart their own course for a day exploring the bounty of the North Fork choosing among behind-the-scenes tours of 20 locations from Calverton to Greenport and meeting the extraordinary people who have dedicated their lives to the art of producing first class food and wine. Visitors will learn about farming, sustainable agriculture and production methods used to create the area’s best food, wines, beers, spirits, and artisanal products.

- Oregon Road Organics – Cutchogue (vegetables and flowers)
- Breeze Hill Farm – Peconic (orchards & row crops)
- Sweet Woodland Farm – Southold (medicinal and culinary herbs)
- Old Field Vineyards – Southold (family-operated winery practicing sustainable viniculture)

Talks and demonstrations from experts in their respective fields will be held
at the Peconic Land Trust Agricultural Center at Charnews Farm in Southold:

- Page Pfeiffer of the French Picnic – Learn how to build your own cheese board and taste the result.
- Ralph Reinertsen – Slow Food East End – Meet the team that has been promoting and supporting good, clean and fair food for all for over 20 years on the East End and learn about the goals of this international organization and their Snail of Approval award.
- Kayla Barthelme – Learn how the East End Food Institute helps local farmers turn their produce into products.
- Chef Jeremiah Johnson – Watch him cook a Caribbean favorite using locally grown vegetable for you to taste.
