Restitching Ecological Communities – Virtual
Wednesday, April 22nd at 6:30 PM
Over the past few centuries natural landscapes have experienced significant fragmentation due to development and other human activities. Features such as roads, highways, culverts and dams have impeded the movement of wildlife leading to their decline and loss. This zoom presentation, on Earth Day, will explore the problem, and describe a number of strategies that conservationists are employing throughout the world to help wildlife cope in an increasingly human world. Host John Turner is a naturalist, Conservation co-chair of the Four Harbors Audubon Society, and Conservation Policy Advocate for the Seatuck Environmental Association. This is a free program.
