“NEW VIEWS FOR OLD PEWS”NORTHFORK CONTEMPORARY at CAST Southold Treiber Hall, 53930 Main Road, Southold, NY April 10 – 13, 2024 I’m happy to be included in a unique exhibition of art and design made from repurposed 100-year-old church pews! My piece “Portal” above is inspired by Japanese ‘torii’ gates, and integrates a playable ‘koto’ styled harp and ‘gong’, and can be placed outdoors. This short event culminates in an auction on Saturday, April 13th to benefit CAST! You can view this show of very impressive furniture and art pieces tomorrow, Friday, April 12th from 5-7pm and register for the auction here. —————— The show includes work by Hideaki Ariizumi, Brad Ascalon & Will Paulson, Glynis Berry, Scott Bluedorn, Christian Demchak, Garance, Jay Hodges, Larissa Killough, Joyce Orrigo, Will Paulson, Verona Penalba, Adam Straus and Allan Wexler. —————— The reception and auction will be Saturday, April 13th from 5-7pm!

SAVE THE DATE: “SCOTT BLUEDORN: FORCE MAJEURE”CLINTON ACADEMY of EAST HAMPTON May 10 – 31, 2024 Opening Reception: Friday, May 10 5-8pm I am excited to announce my second solo show at Clinton Academy in East Hampton! ‘Force Majeure’ explores the power of natural events in the face of human folly and artifice, exulting the revelatory and sublime. The show will consist of found object and mixed media assemblages with objects from storm-wracked beaches, as well as prints, drawings, paintings and sculptures.
