Preview Next Week’s Concert
Monday, August 23 at 5 PM
On next week’s concert, hear Schubert’s brilliant and
transformational Wanderer Fantasy,
which inspired Liszt to write his transcription for piano and orchestra.
The concert features Liszt’s monumental B minor sonata along with
rarely heard gems by Clara Schumann (Four Fugitive Pieces, Op. 15) and
Florence Price (slow movement from Sonata in E minor).
Celebrated alumni perform including Michelle Cann,
Awadagin Pratt, and Orion Weiss.
Purchase a mini subscription for $100 to attend the
concert on August 23 and 30.
