Using a steamroller in place of a traditional printing press, participating artists and artist groups create large-scale prints. This is a rare opportunity to see this unique artistic process in action!
Eighteen artists and teams will bring their own pre-carved designs, which will be covered in ink and pressed onto paper or fabric using the enormous weight of a steamroller.
The festival also features a few local favorites, live music, and opportunities for visitors to try printmaking themselves on our indoor presses. You can even snag some hand printed merch to commemorate the event and support local arts and artists.
Participating artists and teams: William Albertini, Glynis Berry, Scott Bluedorn, Andrea Cote, Sherry Davis, Olivia DeFeo, Yan Lin, Bonnie McLoughlin Stiegler, Amanda McGrath, Mich Miller, Parker Parenti, Thomas Moore, Ruthe Nepf, Drew O’Connor, Rochester Institute of Technology, Yaqub Shabazz, Ted Thirlby, and Marianne Weil, among others.
Vendors: AllOneVoice Typewriter Poetry, Ben & Jerry’s, The Mystic Collective, Winters Eve Revived Wears.
Live Music: 3 DAY WEEKEND, DJ _SPECTRE, and Chris Jones EEAC Head of Music.
Many thanks to sponsor Right Now Marketing and to Highway Supervisor Mike Zaleski for his participation and enthusiasm!
