Ever wanted to think faster, speak bolder, and feel way more comfortable being delightfully unscripted?
Yes, And: Intro to Improv is your six-week invitation to loosen up, laugh out loud, and surprise yourself.
Whether you’re:
- Secretly hilarious but a little shy
- Craving a creative outlet that doesn’t involve a screen
- Wanting to boost your confidence to be a successful business person
- Curious about improv but terrified someone will make you do a fake accent
This course, instructed by Guild Hall’s Kayla Matters and Amy Kirwin, introduces the core principles of improv in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. You’ll play games, build scenes, sharpen your listening skills, and discover the magic of saying “Yes, And…”—onstage and off.
Six Tuesdays | February 3–March 10, 6-7:30 PM
No experience necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to play (and you must be at least 18). Spots are limited, and they will disappear faster than a good punchline.
Sign Up, say yes, and see what happens next.
Disclaimer: You don’t have to be funny to take this class—but you might accidentally become funnier anyway.
