It’s HIFF34’s OPENING NIGHT! We are so excited to get this festival started and share these incredible films with everyone! Our Opening Night Film, I PLAY ROCKY, is playing tonight at the East Hampton Middle School and the East Hampton Regal UA. What a way to kick off the festival!
After each balloted screening at HIFF34, a QR code will be presented for audience members to scan and vote! Only the first screening of each film at HIFF34 will be balloted. Make your voice heard!

Join Views From Long Island filmmakers—including Michael Goodin (NOT DEAD YET), Jake Silbermann (BARBIZON), and Jeff Ragovin (BOUNTY UNCHARTED: EMPIRE OF THE ATLANTIC)—for a discussion about the benefits and challenges of making films out East. Suffolk County Film Commission’s Diana Cherryholmes will also share her expertise.
